In-Home Caregiver – Flexible Shifts

San Marcos, CA
$19–$22 per hour | Part-Time or Full-Time

FirstLight Home Care is hiring dependable caregivers for clients in San Marcos and nearby North County communities .

Choose from flexible 4- to 12-hour shifts , including:

• Day and evening shifts
• Overnights
• Weekdays and weekends

Tell us when and where you’re available. We’ll discuss client assignments that match your schedule, location, experience, and skills.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Depending on the client’s care plan, you may assist with:

• Companionship
• Bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Incontinence care
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Dementia care and redirection
• Transfers and mobility
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation and errands

Requirements

• Dependable and compassionate
• Comfortable providing personal care
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Valid California driver’s license
• Current auto insurance
• Willing to travel to nearby client homes
• Home Care Aide registration or willingness to complete it
• Able to complete required background clearance, health screening, and onboarding
• Able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Professional or personal caregiving experience is preferred, but paid training is available for dependable candidates who are ready to learn.
