Your Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, recommending diagnostic procedures, and creating personalized care strategies
• Identifying and addressing acute, ongoing, or episodic illnesses, either independently or as part of a collaborative team (subject to your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in adherence to your scope of practice

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
