Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with approximately 44,000 visits per year across a 34-bed unit
• Perform triage, IV initiation, and moderate sedation procedures
• Execute Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma protocols as required
• Operate unit equipment including EKG, Lucas device, cardiac monitors, Dynamap, POC, and iStat
• Document and manage patient care using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, triage nurses, and paramedics while maintaining a 1:4 patient ratio

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact RN License required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
