Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in Missouri. This role involves providing rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The position requires applying evidence-based practices and supporting patient progress through various therapeutic procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shift hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license, active State licensure or registration, a minimum of 1 year of OTA experience with long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings, and specialized experience in skilled nursing facilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist and familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
• Additional Information: The role involves assessing patient progress, documenting treatment sessions accurately, participating in care conferences, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team. The position also requires adherence to the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy), American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and State practice acts, including ethics and conduct standards. Candidate must be able to support the procurement of necessary durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies as needed.
