We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations and help ensure our properties are well-managed and maintained.

Position Summary


The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to oversee property operations, resident relations, leasing activities, rent collection, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management of residential and/or commercial properties
• Respond to tenant inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Process rental applications, lease agreements, and renewals
• Assist with rent collection and account follow-up
• Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors and contractors
• Conduct property inspections as needed
• Maintain accurate tenant and property records
• Assist with marketing vacant units and scheduling property showings
• Support compliance with company policies and local housing regulations
• Perform general administrative and office duties

Qualifications

• Previous property management, leasing, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Property management software experience is a plus
