Associate Scientist/Sr. Specialist, QC Microbiology Trainer

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Scientist/Sr. Specialist to develop and deliver QC microbiology training for cell therapy laboratory personnel. The role combines microbiology expertise with instructional design, curriculum development, and hands-on training delivery in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led and hands-on training on QC microbiology, environmental monitoring, aseptic practices, and related laboratory methods
- Develop, revise, and maintain training curricula, qualification plans, assessments, and laboratory materials
- Coordinate training schedules and mentor analysts on approved procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain training laboratories, track qualification progress, and evaluate trainee performance with constructive feedback
- Support investigations, audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives related to training compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or related scientific discipline
- Hands-on QC microbiology and environmental monitoring laboratory experience
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring laboratory personnel
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and cGMP requirements
- Effective technical writing, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments in fast-paced environments
