Insurance Sales Representative

IDR Agency is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Insurance Sales Representative to join our team! IDR is an independent insurance agency located in Biloxi, MS. We work with many top-rated carriers to help customers find the right coverage for their auto, home, flood, business, and specialty insurance needs. Our agency is built on customer service, education, teamwork, and doing insurance the right way. This role is perfect for someone who loves talking to people, building relationships, learning new things, and being part of a fast-moving, positive team. What You’ll Do As our Sales Representative, you will: Connect with new customers and help identify their insurance needs Quote and present coverage options for personal and commercial insurance Build protection plans that fit each customer’s life, business, and budget Follow up with leads, prospects, and current customers Assist with applications, underwriting information, and policy setup Support marketing efforts, community events, social media, and local networking Maintain customer relationships through friendly follow-up and education Stay up to date on insurance products, carrier guidelines, and industry knowledge Work with the IDR team to provide an excellent customer experience from quote to policy delivery What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking to new people Motivated by goals, growth, and helping others Organized and able to follow up consistently Positive, coachable, and willing to learn Professional in communication by phone, email, text, and in person Interested in sales, marketing, customer service, and community connection A team player who wants to grow with a local agency Qualifications Property & Casualty insurance license preferred Willing to obtain Property & Casualty license before official hiring, if not already licensed High school diploma or GED required Sales, customer service, marketing, or insurance experience is a plus Must be comfortable using technology, email, phone systems, and online quoting platforms Why Join IDR?
