Job Description Emergency Veterinarian – Ethos ER Immerse Mentorship Program (Phoenix, AZ) VetMED, an AAHA‑accredited specialty and 24‑hour emergency hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking motivated Emergency Veterinarian Mentees to join our skilled, dedicated, and passionate emergency team. Collaborative Environment: Work alongside specialists and residency‑trained colleagues in Critical Care, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Radiology and Dermatology. Our ER and specialty teams collaborate closely to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the curriculum focuses on core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian, including clinical knowledge, skills, client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration. Program Duration and Commitment: 6‑month training program with flexible/rolling start date options 1‑year commitment as an ER clinician at VetMED following training Location: VetMED Emergency & Specialty Veterinary Hospital, 20612 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024 Program Highlights: Surgical training required Always work with a dedicated mentor on shifts No on‑call Competency‑based curriculum that includes asynchronous learning on Vetbloom and weekly live virtual didactic rounds Regular live continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctors Work Authorization: Work authorization in the United States is a requirement for the position.
