General Maintenance TechnicianWe're looking for a dependable, hands-on General Maintenance Technician to help keep our Anytime Fitness clubs clean, safe, and operating at their best. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and tackling a variety of maintenance projects.You'll travel between our Connecticut locations performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, painting, and general facility upkeep. Experience repairing fitness equipment is not required.ResponsibilitiesPerform general building maintenance and repairsComplete basic plumbing repairs (leaky faucets, toilets, drains, etc.)Patch, repair, and paint walls and other surfacesReplace fixtures, hardware, ceiling tiles, and other building componentsPerform minor carpentry and drywall repairsComplete preventative maintenance tasksTroubleshoot and resolve general facility issuesMaintain a safe, clean, and professional environmentCommunicate repair needs and project updates with managementQualificationsPrevious experience in general maintenance, facilities, handyman services, or a related trade preferredBasic knowledge of plumbing, painting, and general repairsAbility to safely use common hand and power toolsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to perform standard maintenance inspectionsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to travel between Connecticut locations as neededAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, kneeling, and standing for extended periodsWhat We Offer$30.00 per hourFlexible part-time scheduleMileage reimbursement (if applicable)Variety in your work—no two days are the sameOpportunity to help maintain a growing network of fitness clubsIdeal CandidateYou're the person friends and family call when something needs fixing.
