Job Description

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department and ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. The Executive Housekeeper will manage a team of housekeeping staff and work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards.
• Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare and manage departmental budget.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
