The following duties may be assigned in the plan of care:Daily routine care (feeding, grooming and bathing)Light shoppingLight housekeepingConversing with the client to provide assuranceMeal preparation and clean upReporting any incidents, complaints, and/or concerns to the agency immediatelyOther responsibilities as assignedRequired Education/ Experience:High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years of experience with seniors in a home setting preferredEnglish proficiency and excellent communication skillsAbility to work independently in the fieldAbility to work with different personality types in a professional mannerThree references requiredProof of clear TB/PPD test taken within the last yearMust be able to pass a background checkCNA, HHA, and BLS/CPR certifications a plusPhysical demands may include but are not limited to:Transferring of clientStanding for long periods of timeLifting more than 10lbsSome clients will require activity that can described as medium to moderately heavy.
