Utility Technician

As a Utility Technician at Via, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our vehicles. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly through a wide range of on‑the‑ground tasks. What You’ll Do Support overall fleet health by coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance; shuttling vehicles to/from vendors; inspecting vehicles for cleanliness, readiness and visual appearance and track out‑of‑service vehicles to optimize fleet supply Perform smaller maintenance tasks (e.g., tire swaps, light repairs) Perform vehicles cleaning and maintenance tasks Assist with the seamless in‑fleeting and de‑fleeting of vehicles, collaborating closely with Fleet Managers Support the operations team with miscellaneous on‑the‑ground responsibilities, including maintaining and/or adjusting vehicle equipment and trade dress equipment, organizing workspaces, and assisting with local market initiatives Who You Are You take initiative, solve problems on the fly, and love getting the job done A dynamic team player who is willing to wear multiple hats and tackle projects of all types Detail‑oriented enough to keep track of vehicle schedules, yet hands‑on enough to jump into a repair Practical knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics and diagnostics is preferred (not mandatory) Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license Ability to pass a pre‑employment physical exam. Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screening and background check is mandatory. This includes a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no felonies, no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions, and no more than 2 speeding tickets Compensation and Benefits Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills Salary: $20-24 per hour Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required Ready to join the ride? #J-18808-Ljbffr Via
