About the Facility Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) is a healthcare facility in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to providing medical services to Native American and Alaska Native communities. Serving over 152,000 patients, PIMC offers a wide range of services, including primary care, specialty care, emergency care, dental care, behavioral health services, and wellness programs. The Tribes that comprise the Phoenix Service Unit include the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, San Lucy District of the Tohono O'odham Nation, Tonto Apache Tribe, Yavapai-Apache Indian Tribe, and Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe. Responsibilities

• The Maternal/Fetal Medicine Physician provides onsite maternal-fetal medicine services and consultation.
• Perform and interpret level 2/targeted obstetrical ultrasound services and fetal monitoring tests.
• Manage and modify therapies for high-risk pregnancies.
• The Maternal/Fetal Medicine Physician collaborates with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
• Adhere to the standards for The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation and Client guidelines.
• Participate in the hospital's Quality Improvement Program and abide by the policies, bylaws, and procedures of PIMC.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including Native American communities.
• Proficient in diagnosing and managing complex maternal and fetal conditions.
• The Maternal/Fetal Medicine Physician conducts detailed family and medical history assessments, physical exams, and selective laboratory tests.

Requirements

• Education: Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency in internal medicine or obstetrics and gynecology with fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. New residency graduates with significant experience may be considered.
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
• Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
