Compensation Specialist

Provides professional human resources support across one or more functional areas, including employee relations, compensation, SCA regulations, onboarding, benefits, HRIS, compliance, and learning and development. Performs routine administrative and professional HR activities, maintains accurate employee records, responds to employee and manager inquiries, and helps ensure efficient, compliant HR operations.

• ​Review corporate compensation packages and plans for upgrades to align with industry standards.

• Preferred to have some experience or exposure to SCA regulations.

• Provides day-to-day support for assigned HR programs, processes, and services.

• ​Coordinates special projects, programs, and activities including, but not limited to the wellness program, employee events, philanthropic programs, and employee engagement activities

• ​Prepares reports, audits, and documentation to support HR operations and regulatory requirements.

• ​Performs various administrative functions as needed, such as employment verifications, OPM investigations, unemployment claims, filing, etc.

• ​Assists with responding to manager and employee inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner, and escalating when appropriate. Explains human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees/managers.

• ​Assists with the maintenance of the various documents, trackers, intranet pages, etc. ensuring information remains relevant and current.

• ​Documents and maintains up-to-date process and procedural guides and makes recommendations to streamline processes for efficiency to include recommendations for new tools/resources to automates processes.

• ​Supports ASM recognition programs, as needed.

• ​Utilize problem-solving skills to quickly resolve potential conflicts and achieve actionable results.

Minimum Requirements:

2 - 4 years of experience with compensation analysis and/or planning.

1 year of SCA regulations experience.

Bachelors degree in HR or a related field or 5 years of work experience.

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
