Process Engineer, Diffusion

Process Engineer Wolfspeed is seeking a high potential, resourceful, hands‑on, problem‑solving Process Engineer with the capacity to quickly grasp and resolve a wide range of technical challenges. This position requires an expected in‑office work schedule of Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Responsibilities Analyze data using sound statistical methodology to drive process, efficiency, and quality improvements. Establish relationships across various departments to drive cohesive learning and cross‑functional problem solving. Facilitate and own efforts to drive best‑in‑class performance, yield, and quality. Present technical data and project updates to peers and management in both casual and formal environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Nanoscale/Microelectronic Engineering, or a related technical field. Understanding of and ability to handle structured problem solving (5Y and 8Ds). Working knowledge of applied statistics (SPC/DOE). Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong technical aptitude. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in an automated semiconductor fab. Engineering experience working with diffusion processes. Compensation Salary range: $77,000.00 – $106,000.00.
