Attorney (Associate)

Position and Requirements Manning Curtis Bradshaw & Bednar seeks a lateral attorney to join its litigation team. Competitive candidates are those who are interested in actively engaging in all phases of commercial civil litigation from pre-litigation work through appeal. Given that Manning Curtis is an intentionally small firm, our associates are offered many early opportunities to take and defend depositions, argue motions before the court, and help prepare appeals before state and federal appellate courts. Manning Curtis therefore seeks an attorney who excels in research, writing, and oral advocacy. The candidate must have graduated with a juris doctor from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in Utah. Ideal candidates have strong academic performance, excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and must be willing and able to work as part of a team. Compensation Manning Curtis’s compensation package is merit-based with starting attorney salaries at $165,000, plus bonuses. Opportunities for advancement are based on individual performance and achievements, as well as contribution to the team’s efforts.
