Corporate Development Deal Lead

Build connections with regional investor and start-up ecosystems, while interfacing with Google product and engineering teams.Identify, evaluate, and value acquisition and strategic investment opportunities in APAC (North Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia).Drive management team decisions, help lead agreement negotiations and execution, plus manage post-acquisition integration.Serve as a board member or observer on regional investments.Collaborate with the Deal team in Mountain View, CA and globally.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in corporate development, venture capital, private equity or investment banking within the technology industry.5 years of experience working on deals.Experience leading and negotiating Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, or investments. Experience building financial models and valuing companies.Preferred qualifications:MBA or other equivalent advanced degree preferred.10 years of experience within technology.Experience in working on cross-border transactions, and working in one or more APAC regions.AI, internet/mobile, communications or e-commerce experience.Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.Business fluency in additional Asian languages greatly valued.As a member of the Corporate Development team, you work collaboratively across functions (including Product, Legal, Finance and People Operations) to identify, evaluate, and negotiate both acquisition and strategic investment opportunities.
