About the Role:
Join STILES OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT LLC as a Small Engine Mechanic in Fort Walton Beach, FL! We are looking for a skilled technician who is passionate about outdoor power equipment and dedicated to providing top-notch service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair small engine issues in lawn mowers, trimmers, and other outdoor equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and explain repairs to clients.
- Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of small engine repair and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid mechanic's certification or relevant training preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
