About the Position

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Operating Room Duration: Seasonal Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, NBSTA Certification Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months current CST hospital experience Description: Seasonal travel position for CST in the Operating Room. The role involves working in an environment with 16 operating rooms. The unit typically handles a wide variety of surgical procedures. Common types of surgeries performed include orthopedic, neuro/spine, gynecologic/oncologic, general, and cardiovascular. The staff consists of approximately 110 individuals with a patient ratio of 1:1. Robotic surgery experience is preferred, especially with DaVinci and Mako systems. A background in trauma and vascular training is also advantageous. Candidates are expected to be motivated self-starters. This position does not include transplant or burn surgeries.
