**THIS IS A 1-2 WEEK PROJECT STARTING AUGUST 3rd, 2026**

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Onsite IT Project Technician to oversee and assist with a large-scale monitor refresh project. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong deployment experience, leadership skills, and the ability to keep projects organized and on schedule.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team during a monitor refresh deployment.
• Remove existing monitors, monitor arms, desktops, and peripherals.
• Install new dual monitors, monitor arms, PCs, keyboards, mice, and cabling.
• Unbox new equipment and repack materials into original boxes for recycling/pickup.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and project reporting.
• Coordinate with project managers and onsite personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the project.

 

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading desktop deployment, hardware refresh, or IMAC projects.
• Experience replacing monitors, desktops, and computer peripherals.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting equipment and handling boxes throughout the day.
• Must have a standard IT technician tool kit.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

• Standard IT technician tool kit
• Screwdriver set with interchangeable bits
• Electric screwdriver
• 4mm & 6mm hex bits
• Box cutter
• Scissors
• Aviation snips (or equivalent cutting tool)
• Cable tester (preferred)

 

Dress Code

• Clean jeans or khakis
• Polo shirt or professional, solid-colored top
• Closed-toe shoes in good condition
• No ripped clothing, graphic shirts, or worn footwear

 

Safety & Security

• Follow safe lifting practices and maintain proper cable management.
• Adhere to all client security procedures, including daily check-in/check-out and bag inspections.
• Maintain a professional appearance and awareness of equipment security throughout the project.
