Driver Helper

Job Overview Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is hiring a Driver Helper for its Kansas City, MO facility. The role supports the truck driver in all day-to-day activities, including loading, unloading, and assisting with delivery logistics. Essential Functions Accurately load the daily route onto the truck. Scan the daily route onto the truck. Assist the driver with navigating to deliveries. Assist the driver with carrying freight to a business or residence destination. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Competencies Forklift experience is a plus. Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area. Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted. Good customer‑service skills. Schedule Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Physical Requirements Requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching, use of hands to reach, bend, and lift objects above the head. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts. Regular use of a phone and a PC for reading and writing shipping documents. Additional Information Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other areas to cover absences or balance peak workloads.
