Material Handler

Job Description

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring efficient material flow within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves physical handling of materials, data entry in ERP systems, and supporting cross-functional teams, all while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Perform material movements both physically and within ERP systems
Generate and process work orders using the ERP system
Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
Maintain a neat, safe, and compliant work environment
Assist with coordination and flow of products through manufacturing and assembly
Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Handle chemicals safely with proper training (e.g., isopropyl alcohol, sulfuric acid)
Support company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
Comply with FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures
Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers
Work overtime as needed to meet business demands
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year inventory control experience, preferably in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical or medical device industries
High school diploma or GED
