Chuckanut Ridge Assisted Living is looking for a Resident Care Coordinator who is responsible, kind, smart, creative, and ready to lead.

What You'll Do

As our Resident Care Coordinator, you'll work closely with our Director of Nursing and care team to make sure our residents receive thoughtful, individualized support while helping our caregivers feel trained, supported, and successful.

You'll get to know our residents—their routines, preferences, personalities, families, strengths, and the things that matter to them. You'll help translate that knowledge into service plans and everyday care that supports independence, dignity, choice, and quality of life.

You'll also be an important leader for our care team. That means:

• Supporting, mentoring, and coaching caregivers and medication staff
• Helping with scheduling and day-to-day staffing needs
• Participating in resident assessments and service planning
• Communicating with residents, families, nurses, providers, and team members
• Recognizing changes in resident needs and making sure concerns are followed through
• Helping orient and train new team members
• Jumping in when the team needs help
• Finding creative solutions when something isn't working
• Helping create a culture of kindness, accountability, teamwork, and fun

Who We're Looking For

Experience matters, but who you are matters just as much.

• Medication Technician License
• Is naturally responsible and follows through
• Genuinely enjoys older adults and respects their individuality
• Is kind without being afraid to hold people accountable
• Has natural leadership skills—people trust you and look to you for direction
• Can stay calm and think clearly when the day doesn't go according to plan
• Communicates well with families, residents, coworkers, and leadership
• Notices problems and looks for solutions instead of waiting for someone else to fix them
• Is organized but flexible
• Likes teaching, mentoring, and helping others become better at what they do
• Brings ideas to the table and isn't afraid to try something new
• Understands that senior living should be about living, not simply completing tasks

Previous experience working with older adults is important, and experience in assisted living, long-term care, caregiving, medication assistance, scheduling, or team leadership is strongly preferred.
