This contract opportunity in the Cheyenne, WY area invites you to provide vital speech and language therapy services within a supportive educational environment. Collaborate with educators, families, and other allied professionals to help students build communication skills that foster academic and social success.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Wyoming or the ability to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs considered
- Experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Provide direct speech and language therapy in individual or group settings as outlined in IEPs
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
- Stay up to date with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
