The Harvest Technician supports post-cultivation activities and operations of our client's cultivation department. This position is responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. Cannabis is a heavily regulated industry, so all employees must comply with safety and compliance regulations.

The Role
The Harvest Technician supports post-cultivation activities and operations of our client's cultivation department. This position is responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. Cannabis is a heavily regulated industry, so all employees must comply with safety and compliance regulations.
Essential Functions
- Participate in the cannabis harvest process, including harvesting plants, sanitizing flower rooms in preparation for the next grow, reloading flower rooms, and handling materials and cannabis waste
- Properly dry wet cannabis plants
- Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information, and policies when performing duties
- Be aware of hazards in the workspace
- Retain and understand department-specific training
- Report safety incidents/concerns and comply with follow-up actions
- Be compliant with area safety requirements, state regulations, and PPE requirements
- Follow GMP, biosecurity, sanitation, and quality/compliance requirements
- Perform accurate and complete record keeping as directed
- Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment, and machinery as directed
- Report and escalate safety and quality concerns
- Regular reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
- Must sit/stand for extended periods while maintaining focus
- Must lift up to 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Environment up to 85°F and 70% humidity for extended periods
- Must be able to work at heights
- Daily exposure to allergens (cannabis, tree nuts, coconut oil)
- Minimum high school diploma or GED; degree or certifications preferred
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well with others while completing individually assigned tasks
- Prior cannabis experience not required
- Must be 21+ with a valid state ID
- Must be able to obtain and maintain state badging (background check and state review required)
