VP Financial Advisor

VP Financial Advisor – Westwood, LA Wealth Enhancement Group, an independent wealth management firm, invites a VP Financial Advisor to join our advisory team. The role focuses on managing client relationships, driving new business, mentoring peers, and delivering high‑level financial planning services. Primary Job Functions Manage existing client relationships and ensure client satisfaction and retention. Facilitate the financial planning process and conduct annual reviews. Discover and understand client values, goals and current financial situation. Source, follow up and close prospects; create opportunities within your network. Mentor and train team members in technical and client‑service areas. Educate clients on Wealth Enhancement Group planning process and overall financial matters. Participate in trainings, coaching programs, and maintain technology proficiency. Education & Qualifications 4‑year degree in business, finance, economics or related field (preferred). Advanced designation required (CFP, CPA, MBA, etc.). Series7, 66 (BD/RIA); Series65 (RIA only). Relevant insurance licenses. Substantial experience in wealth management and ability to convert prospects. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Active participation in the broader community and financial‑planning community. Compensation Annual base salary of $164,000 to $250,000, plus variable compensation based on performance and sales. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications, experience, productivity and geographic location.
