Position Overview

\n

Right Place Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Miami, Florida .

\n

\n

This is a full-time, permanent leadership opportunity for an experienced nursing professional with a strong background in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and long-term care . The Director of Nursing will oversee nursing operations, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, staffing, and overall nursing department performance.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing and clinical operations within the facility
    • \n
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and long-term care regulations
    • \n
  • Maintain survey readiness and oversee regulatory inspections and plans of correction
    • \n
  • Manage nursing staffing, scheduling, performance, and staff development
    • \n
  • Monitor clinical documentation, infection control, resident care, and quality indicators
    • \n
  • Lead QAPI and performance improvement initiatives
    • \n
  • Oversee nursing department staffing, labor, and budget management
    • \n
  • Recruit, develop, and retain qualified nursing staff
    • \n
  • Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary leadership team
    • \n
  • Promote high standards of resident care, safety, and clinical quality
    • \n

Required Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • \n
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility
    • \n
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care compliance
    • \n
  • Demonstrated experience with surveys, inspections, and regulatory compliance
    • \n
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and retain nursing staff
    • \n
  • Experience overseeing staffing, labor management, and clinical operations in an SNF environment
    • \n
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
    • \n
