Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Assists with activities of daily living and routine patient care to support patient comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and hydration.
Perform vital signs measurement such as pulse and blood pressure.
Help with patient positioning, personal care, and use of restraints or assistive devices.
Report patient status, responses, and concerns to the RN accurately and promptly.
Perform clerical duties including routing patient reports and documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment to ensure efficient unit operations.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required; equivalent experience preferred.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
At least two years recent healthcare experience preferred.
Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems required.
Valid nursing license as per the state of assignment preferred.
