About the Role:

The Shift Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant during their assigned shifts. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff performance, and maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality. The Shift Manager ensures compliance with food safety regulations and company policies while optimizing inventory control and cash handling processes. They act as a key point of contact between team members and upper management, fostering a positive work environment and resolving any operational issues promptly. Ultimately, the Shift Manager drives the success of each shift by balancing operational efficiency with excellent customer experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a fast food or quick-service restaurant environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of cashiering procedures and cash deposit handling.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with or managing operations at Pizza Hut or similar fast food chains.
• Certification in food safety or related health and safety training.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to analyze sales and labor data to optimize shift performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Manage cashiering duties including accurate cash deposits and reconciliation at the end of the shift.
• Maintain inventory records by monitoring stock levels, dusting shelves, and organizing stock shelves and coolers to ensure product availability and freshness.
• Enforce food safety standards and company policies to guarantee a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver fast, friendly, and high-quality service consistent with brand standards.

The required skills such as cashiering and cash deposits are essential for managing financial transactions accurately and securely during shifts. Inventory control and maintaining inventory records ensure that stock levels are sufficient and organized, preventing shortages or waste.
