Ensures that departmental supplies are stocked and well maintained./liliCorrelates laboratory methods, procedures, and patient test results with age-specific population criteria and demonstrates appropriate understanding of the needs of patients and visitors for each specific age group. Addresses safety and psychological needs in planning or delivering care/liliEstablishes and implements service priorities, workflow patterns; monitors workflow to assure prompt and efficient delivery of services./liliDemonstrates the ability to evaluate departmental performance and recommends measures to improve services and quality of current methodologies./li/ulh3Job Requirements/h3ulliBachelors degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school/liliLicensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist/liliKnowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology preferred/liliHospital experience desired/liliMust work weekends and holidays as scheduled/liliGood oral and written communication skills essential/li/ulh3Posted Salary Range/h3pUSD $49.14 - USD $60.79 /Hr./ppThe salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits./ppAt Catholic Health, we believe in a people-first approach.
