Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care to clients based on their individual needs and care plans.
• Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Assist with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• A Homemaker Companion will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services.
• Monitor and report any changes in the clients' health or behavior to the supervisor.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Engage in meaningful conversations and activites to promote mental and emothional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and organized living space for the clients.

Requirements:

• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate.
• Previous experience in caregiving, preferably with patients (formal training in caregiving is a plus).
• Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job.
• Genuine empathy and compassion for clients, treating them with respect and dignity.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build a rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to varying client needs.
• CPR Certification.
• ACHA Fingerprinting.
