A/R Specialist

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven A/R Specialist at our Corporate Phoenix office. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)About the position:To provide administrative support functions for the credit department such as collections of account receivables from customers/clients, resolving customer billing issues, and reducing account delinquency.Review open accounts for collection effortsMaking outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relationsResolves client-billing problemsUtilize internal systems daily to post payments, including Vendor Portal SystemSet new or update customer billing accountsCross Train and Assist AR Tax SpecialistReduce accounts receivable delinquency, in a timely mannerCollect customer payments in accordance with payment due datesIdentify issues attributing to account delinquency and review with managementReview and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reportsProvide timely follow-up on payment arrangementsCoordinate correspondence to customers via email, mail, calls etc. to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.Work with internal teams to resolve any issues to support collectionsOther duties as assignedA minimum of 1-2 years account payable and business to business collections within a high-volume wholesale distributor.A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. Accounting Degree, preferred.Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.Must be able to communicate well with others.Strong attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy.Strong time management and organizational skills.Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications.Basic typing/10-key skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc.
