Electrical Warranty Specialist
Position Overview: An Electrical Warranty Specialist is responsible for handling warranty claims related to electrical components and systems. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and coordinating repairs or replacements to ensure customer satisfaction. A strong understanding of electrical systems, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process warranty claims for electrical components and systems.
- Conduct thorough investigations of warranty claims, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
- Diagnose electrical issues based on customer descriptions and available data.
- Determine warranty eligibility and authorize repairs or replacements.
- Coordinate with customers, technicians, and suppliers to resolve warranty claims efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and related documentation.
- Identify trends in warranty claims and provide feedback to product development or quality control teams.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding electrical product performance and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on product specifications, warranty policies, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or technical certificate in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
- Experience with warranty management systems preferred.
- Must complete a background/drug test
