SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position. Location: Valley Baptist Medical Center, 1040 West Jefferson Street, Brownsville, TX 78520. Online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time schedule – Wednesday, 12:00 pm to 6:50 pm; Thursday and Friday, 6:30 am to 6:50 pm; Saturday, 5:00 am to 6:50 pm. More details upon interview. Requirement: Previous food service experience required. Fixed Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour. Job Summary Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide training and create work schedules. Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance. Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety. Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off. Act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization. Perform other duties as assigned.
