Lube Technician
We are looking for a Lube Technician to join our growing Service Team. Here at Airport Marina Honda, we are strong advocators of career growth, and our employees can attest to that! Several employees grew their careers. Our General Manager started as a Sales Manager and moved up to General Sales Manager before being promoted again. Responsibilities
- Check and communicate oil level to other Teammates
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
- Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
- Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
- Complete any and all Recalls on Vehicle
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
- Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Requirements
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical degree preferred
- ASE certifications preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in service department
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Willing to submit a background check and drug screen
