Key Responsibilities of the RN ICU Intensive Care Unit

Provide high-quality direct care to patients in the ICU
Monitor patient vitals and perform EKG monitoring
Administer IVs, manage central venous lines, and arterial lines
Conduct wound care and maintain Foley catheters
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient treatment and discharge planning

Requirements of the RN ICU Intensive Care Unit

Current BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum of one year med/surg experience preferred
