Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the direct recovery of patients post open-heart surgery and possess knowledge in managing advanced cardiac devices.

Qualifications

Current CO CAPS certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Experience in CVICU with direct open heart recovery
Proficiency with Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU
Monitor and manage patients recovering from open heart surgery
Utilize advanced cardiac devices as part of patient management
Float to other facilities as required by staffing needs
Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as per unit requirements

Location

Regional contract role with potential to float to facilities in NCMC and BFC as needed.

Work Schedule

Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
