SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to operate transporter/expeditor safely • Demonstrate safe work practices and use appropriate PPE • Pass exam for driving test • Regular attendance • Use computer system as required for position • Work effectively with co-workers, supervision and management • Follow instruction PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Continuously stand and walk in work area • Push/pull carts to the roll pack line by hand or machine • Push/pull baskets by hand or machine • Additional physical requirements include bending and stooping • Visual ability necessary to see obstructions JOB DUTIES: • Bring empty carts to assemblers • Deliver units to the roll pack lanes from the assembler area • Deliver empty baskets to coilers • Pull coil baskets to machines • Perform daily safety checks, notify supervisor of any safety issues needing corrected • Operate machinery in safe manner • Perform daily maintenance on machinery and clean the floors • Provide input to supervision or maintenance concerning equipment issues • Keep work area clean and follow 6S procedures • Follow scrap procedures • Work overtime as needed • Train new employees • Participate in all L & P initiatives, ISO 9001:2015, TPM, Continuous Improvement, ECO, etc. • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned This is an hourly position from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Successful candidates must pass a drug screen.
