Key Responsibilities Review project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to define scope and prepare cost estimates. Develop conceptual estimates and schedules based on preliminary designs. Conduct site visits to assess access, utilities, and site conditions. Produce Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) estimates, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Mentor junior estimators and interns. Assist with project management tasks when required. Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. Present and reconcile estimates with clients and design teams. Provide input on design improvements and estimation procedures. Analysis & Quality Control Track costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of scopes and estimates. Health, dental, and vision coverage. The Person We’re looking for someone with: A degree in a related field or equivalent experience (minimum of 5 years). Proven expertise in pre‑construction and cost estimation for projects ranging from $250K to $15M. Proficiency in construction‑specific tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Pro‑Est.
