RN Dialysis PRN

Job Summary As a Registered Nurse in Dialysis/Pheresis at Alaska Regional Hospital, you will provide care to acutely or critically ill patients, supporting a team dedicated to serving others in need. Responsibilities Perform patient assessment for vascular access, PICC placement, and troubleshooting. Develop protocols based on Standards of Practice. Educate staff and contribute to data collection. Serve as a consultant working with nursing staff to promote best practice in vascular access. Exemplify professional nursing practice through expert clinical work, strong leadership skills, and management activities. Qualifications Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Minimum 2 years of acute care experience and IV placement experience. Knowledge of specialty equipment and tools: Plasmapheresis preferred; Dialysis prior experience preferred. A red Cross or Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS or ACLS) certified.
