2nd Shift CNC Machine OperatorCNC Machine OperatorLocation: Batavia, IllinoisSchedule: 2nd Shift 10:40 AM - 02:30 PMPay rate: $23 and upDuties:Operate CNC mills and lathes.Read and interpret technical prints/drawings.Set up machines, including feeds, speeds, tooling, and fixtures.Perform in-process quality inspections.Maintain production, quality, and safety standards.Complete inventory and job documentation accurately.Communicate and collaborate with multiple departments.Assist with continuous improvement and cross-training.Follow all safety procedures and perform other assigned duties.Requirements:High school diplomaAble to communicate effectively (verbal, written and active listening) at all organization levels and functionsGood math, measurement and written/verbal comprehension skillsAble to measure using established tolerances--micrometer, calipers; understand quality specsAble to read basic prints and drawings, charts, graphsAble to understand manufacturing orders, routings, special chances and other miscellaneous formsAble to use production equipment, hand tools, testing devices and other miscellaneous equipment and toolsGood mechanical aptitude, as well as analytical and problem solving skillsGood team membership skillsMust be able to lift 50 poundsAble to plan, prioritize, organize and demonstrate attention to detailComputer literate
