Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support material planning and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This internship is ideal for someone looking to build a foundation in supply chain, procurement, and data analysis. - Support material planning and shortage analysis across active programs
- Track and follow up on supplier commits (ETD/ETA) to ensure continuity of supply
- Analyze inventory, excess & obsolete (E&O), and demand alignment
- Assist in cost tracking (PPV, freight, sourcing options)
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (purchasing, planning, logistics, warehouse)
- Build and maintain Excel, Power BI, or other business analysis tools to optimize processes
- Support expedite actions and recovery plans for critical shortages
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Has internship experience in related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Clear communication and teamwork
- Good time management and prioritization
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Basic knowledge of supply chain and inventory planning concepts
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
- Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is a plus
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports
- Basic understanding of cost tracking (PPV, freight) is a plus
