Your adventure begins now—unleash your potential with MANTECH!***This is for a future opportunity***MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deployable Programmer to join our team in Alexandria, VA, Philadelphia, PA or Chandler, AZ. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week. In this role, you will perform hands-on radio programming deployments and support the coordination of critical software updates for tactical communications equipment. Your focus will be on executing technical procedures and maintaining consistent operational compliance across all field locations.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Support Field Operations: Coordinate with TACCOM Regional Program Managers to execute comprehensive field reprogramming efforts for APX8500 and APX8000 radiosMaintain Operational Standards: Diligently align all field activities and programming workflows with established government practices and agency standardsSupport Advanced Systems: Provide critical technical support and execution for cutting-edge APX Next programming updates as required.Follow Standardized Procedures: Utilize technical processes, standard operating procedures, and documentation to maintain team efficiency and deployment accuracyRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network/Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline AND 4+ years of experience, OR Master's and 2+ years of experience, OR Associate and 6+ years of experience, OR High School diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience Professional Experience: Proven track record working as a Network & Systems Administrator or an IT Systems EngineerHardware Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on experience establishing field reprogramming initiatives and providing critical software updates specifically for Motorola radiosTeamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellencePreferred Qualifications:Documentation Skills: Advanced experience drafting precise technical processes and clear operational proceduresFramework Familiarity: Prior experience executing workflows within federal operational practices and compliance guidelinesSecurity Clearance Requirements:U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain agency suitability prior to starting this positionPosition may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearancePhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeOccasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentationsMANTECH considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to disability or veteran status or any other status protected under any federal, state, or local law or regulation.If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply for a position with MANTECH, please email us at View email address on click.appcast.io and provide your name and contact information.
