You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.Ferguson is currently seeking a Shipping Manager to join our Coral Springs, FL Branch team!Position DetailsReports to the Warehouse ManagerDirect oversight of 5-7 associatesMonday - Friday with a start time of 8:00 am - until the work is completed (must be flexible)Oversee international/export shipping documentation, coordinated with associates to ensure compliance and timely delivery of international shipments.Responsibilities:Ensure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderlyMaintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training, and providing professional development for all of its associatesSupervise, coordinate, and participate in unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperworkEnsure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed dailyMaintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch managementResponsible for assisting warehouse associates with picking processMust adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbsSkilled in handling export documentation for transporting goods internationally with carrier coordination, and customer communication to ensure compliant and on‑time deliveries.Ability to coordinate export shipments from the warehouse and serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, documentation, and delivery.Qualifications:Bilingual is preferredA strong background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required2+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experienceA Material Handling Equipment Certification is also recommendedProficient in OSHA and DOT regulationsWarehouse Management Systems/HighjumpProficient with all Microsoft Applications requiredA strong attention to detail, leadership and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelinesPhenomenal communication skills and the ability and desire to manage a teamAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
