We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team at the Light on Anxiety & Counseling Center in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In this full-time remote position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services through telehealth. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing trusting and respectful relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

  • Evaluate client progress through regular meetings, discussing achievements and future appointments, while facilitating discharges when appropriate.
  • \n
  • Craft, implement, and monitor individual treatment plans that are tailored to each client's needs and aspirations.
  • \n
  • Document client interactions meticulously and maintain progress notes that adhere to best practice standards.
  • \n
  • Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and determine appropriate treatment strategies.
  • \n
  • Provide individual therapy sessions weekly, ensuring a client-focused approach in every interaction.
  • \n
  • Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and share insights with peers.

Our client population includes individuals coping with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in mental health, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • \n
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
  • \n
  • Compliance with internal credentialing requirements in designated clinical settings.
  • \n
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in mental health counseling, with an emphasis on psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

  • Proficient in conducting assessments, diagnosis, and providing individual and group therapy.

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, with competencies in virtual communication and therapy techniques.

  • Prior experience working with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

  • Training or certification in trauma-informed care or mindfulness-based approaches would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
