International Disputes Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate to join its International Disputes practice in Washington, D.C. The role offers the opportunity to litigate in federal courts, including the U.S. Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as in international arbitrations both in the U.S. and abroad. Responsibilities Litigate complex commercial cases in federal courts. Participate in international arbitration proceedings. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis. Draft and review legal documents and briefs. Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys. Requirements 2-6 years of relevant experience in a large law firm or judicial clerkship. Experience in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration preferred. Excellent academic credentials. Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Local bar admission required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the local bar. Skills Proficient in legal research and analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
