The Edgewood Center for Rehab and Healthcare is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations at our established 156-bed skilled nursing facility in beautiful Portsmouth, New Hampshire. A Rare Leadership Opportunity
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a Registered Nurse licensed in New Hampshire who combines strong clinical expertise with exceptional leadership skills. Our ideal candidate is passionate about skilled nursing and long-term care, committed to resident-centered service, and understands that great clinical outcomes begin with a strong, supported nursing team.
The Director of Nursing will provide leadership through coaching, accountability, collaboration, education, and respect, while maintaining the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
Previous Director of Nursing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of state and federal skilled nursing and long-term care regulations
Demonstrated success with quality outcomes, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and team-development skills
Ability to mentor and develop nursing leaders and frontline clinical staff
Commitment to exceptional service for residents, families, and employees
