Our Madison, TN facility is a tight‑knit operation of approximately 50 employees , where teamwork, accountability, and hands‑on expertise truly matter.

We are excited to announce an opening for a Maintenance Technician II , created by the upcoming retirement of a long‑tenured maintenance technician who has supported this facility for many years. This role presents a unique opportunity to step into a well‑established operation, work closely with production, and make a visible impact from day one.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician II performs skilled work across multiple maintenance disciplines to keep machinery, equipment, and building systems operating safely and efficiently. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use a wide range of tools—from standard hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
  • Plan and carry out repairs using blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable equipment performance and efficient building systems.
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical components, mechanical systems, and production equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, reassemble equipment, and verify proper operation.
  • Inspect motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and maintain mechanical systems.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to uptime, reliability, and safety.

Reports to Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications, Experience requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, hydraulics and HVAC.

General Requirements:

  • Able to travel to other divisions when required.
  • Detailed and hands-on oriented.

Working Conditions:

  • Office and manufacturing plant environment
  • Frequently indoors
  • Physical ability, which may include standing, lifting, carrying, reaching.
  • Occasionally exposed to high/cold temperatures, loud noises, and fumes

Monday - Friday 3:30 am - 12:00 pm. Overtime Occasional
