Job Description
As a CDL A Driver, you will operate long-haul routes transporting general freight primarily using 2023-2026 Freightliner Cascadia DD15 trucks. This role involves solo driving assignments with trips lasting 3-4 weeks on the road followed by 3-4 days at home. You will ensure the safe and timely delivery of cargo while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations and vehicle maintenance standards. Ideal candidates have a clean driving record and hold U.S. citizenship or green card status.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles on long-haul routes safely and efficiently
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Handle and secure general freight cargo appropriately
- Comply with all applicable safety and DOT regulations
- Maintain clear and timely communication via GPS navigation and mobile apps
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CDL Class A License
- Experience driving Freightliner Cascadia trucks
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile communication tools
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and time management
