Job Title: Psychiatrist MD/DO
Location: Hopkinsville, KY
Job Type: Contract on 1099
Schedule: 8-hour sessions, weekdays and weekends; 2-5 days per week based on availability
Work Setting: Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced, detail-oriented physicians to perform high-quality disability compensation evaluations in accordance with applicable regulatory and clinical standards.

This is an evaluation-only role and does not involve prescribing medications, active treatment, or ongoing continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Disability Evaluations: Conduct thorough, structured clinical evaluations for disability compensation cases.

• Clinical Documentation: Accurately and promptly document clinical findings using standardized templates and established guidelines.

• Provide Medical Opinions: Develop clear, evidence-based medical opinions and causation analyses supported by clinical evidence and applicable regulatory standards.

• Maintain Compliance: Ensure all evaluations and reports comply with federal, state, and organizational regulatory requirements.

• Conduct Virtual Assessments: Perform patient evaluations through secure telehealth platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Licensing

• MD or DO degree.

• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of residence.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified.

Skills & Work Environment

• Exceptional clinical documentation skills and strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable using technology and conducting patient assessments through virtual telehealth platforms.

• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy.

• Access to a secure, private, and quiet workspace.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection to support HIPAA-compliant telehealth services.
